a-tune software AG, a provider of innovative data management solutions for research and development, announced today, that tick@lab has been successfully introduced and implemented at the Center for Stroke and Dementia Research (CSD).
“While building the concepts for our state-of-the-art animal facility, we have not just taken the architectural and technical aspects into account, but also considered our processes and the data management, which comply with the 2010/63/EU guidelines.” states the head of the animal facilities at the CSD. “With tick@lab we’re not only hoping to manage our breeding activities efficiently, it will also help us to fulfill the steadily increasing demands for documentation.”

Researcher of the ISD, Institute for Stroke and Dementia Research at the Clinic of the University Munich and the DZNE, the German Center of Neurodegenerative Diseases as well as of the institute of Metabolic Biochemistry at the LMU working very close together at the newly opened CSD. Their goal is to better understand the causes and risk factors of neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular diseases and to develop new therapeutic approaches.
