As a result of COVID-19, we have all begun an unprecedented journey. We should use this turn of events to think not only about today, but about how we might begin to put in place, procedures and techniques that can minimize the impact of this serious issue.
At a-tune, we have colleagues and customers everywhere in the world. Our thoughts are with all those affected and the many communities that continue to face extreme measures as we will keep working in a way, to help to contain the spread of the virus. We also want to express our deepest thanks and appreciation to all the healthcare workers, first responders, police officers, emergency workers, and all others in essential functions and on the front lines caring for the sick and keeping us safe. We also thank the Animal caretakers and researchers working so hard to find a cure and vaccine.
Technology plays a critical aspect in just about everything we do. Online shopping, personal banking, food delivery, communications with family, friends, colleagues, and all types of business.
Within the Medical Research Marketplace, a-tune has developed a technology platform that enables its users to access their data from anywhere in the world.
Routine operations for example; Animal Care and Use Committee Meetings, Protocol (Ethics) Reviews, critical task assignment and verification, remote diagnostics by veterinary staff, task assignments by researchers to veterinary technicians (breeding operations), the list goes on and on.
All of this and much more can be done remotely, with a fully integrated web application like tick@lab. When you are forced to work from another location, for example from home, tick@lab provides you with the comfort of knowing, that your vivarium information is just a click away.
Our clients are now spread out over four continents and eighteen countries. Language is also not a problem, tick@lab is available in German, French, English, Swedish, Spanish and even Cantonese!
We at a-tune are doing our part by maintaining a self-quarantine environment and working almost entirely remotely, while still moving forward with our projects.
Please stay healthy and safe!
